臺東有民眾到市場買魚，質疑遭偷斤減兩，向消保官投訴，對此，臺東縣消保官謝清泉指出，消費者如果有疑義，最好當場請業者再秤一次，以免事后難以厘清，并建議攤商改用合格電子磅秤，杜絕糾紛。
臺東消保官謝清泉表示，目前業者常使用的磅秤分兩種，一種是傳統磅秤，一種是電子磅秤，經濟部標準檢驗局每年都會定期檢查及抽查，合格磅秤會貼檢驗合格標籤，建議民眾向攤商購買物品秤重時，如果認為有疑問，可要求重測或拿到市場設置的公秤重測。由于春節將屆，消保官特別建議攤商改用電子磅秤，雙面都有顯示單價及總重，一目瞭然，可以避免紛爭。

電子地磅也叫電子汽車衡，現在地磅在各行業使用的范圍越來越廣，從事電子地磅維修的人也越來越多，但有時我們急于使用這臺電子地磅，那有沒有辦法，我們自己動手來修呢?為大家講一講地磅的常用檢測維修的方法：
一、地磅稱量不準
①、先檢查地磅兩頭有沒碰到基礎墻體(磅體兩邊必須有2厘米間隙);
②、再檢查秤體底下雜物有沒有擱住(如有雜物，立即清掃干凈);
③、然后用小叉車分別停在每一個傳感器角上，重量是否一樣(不一樣，調節電位器，保持角差一致)。
④、如以上三點都做到了，地磅還不準請重新校正
二、地磅秤體由秤臺、接線盒、稱重傳感器、限位裝置等幾個部分組成。
1、在日常使用中應保持秤臺的清潔，特別是秤臺與上下坡道之間的縫隙很容易進去雜物，使秤臺的支撐點發生改變，造成秤量失準。
2、地磅秤體應該有很好的排水設施，應避免接線盒被水浸泡，防止稱重儀表的示值顯示出現漂移現象。
3、地磅傳感器內部橋式電路的電阻值非常小，很小的電流就可造成傳感器損壞。所以必須要有可靠的避雷措施，防止因雷擊造成傳感器損壞。
